Calcium Hardness Increaser for Pools, 16-Pounds

This product is a dry granular formula that increases the total hardness in pool water to the recommended range. It is important to test the calcium hardness using a reliable test kit. The desired calcium hardness range varies depending on the pool type: Vinyl Pools should be 200-300 ppm, Tile and Exposed Aggregate Pools should be 200-400 ppm, and Marcite, Fiberglass or Painted Pools should be 250-400 ppm.

If the calcium hardness test indicates a level lower than the desired range, this product should be added according to the included chart. To do this, place the required amount of the product into a plastic bucket filled with swimming pool water, using a ratio of up to 2 pounds of product per 5-gallon bucket of water. Slowly pour this solution around the perimeter of the swimming pool while the circulation system is operating. In a 10,000-gallon pool, no more than 10 pounds of this product should be added per 2-hour period.
